The implementation project in the Big Spring Basin received funding from USDA Farm Service Agency's Agricultural Conservation Program; the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service; the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Division of Soil Conservation; the Iowa Integrated Farm Management Demonstration Project funded by U.S. Department of Energy through the the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Agricultural Energy Management Advisory Council; the Iowa Groundwater Protection Act; Iowa State University Extension. Monitoring in the Big Spring Basin received funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region VII.
