Planting Date and Growth Stage Monitoring Study

This project was initiated to determine why early planted soybean (late April/early May) yield greater than late planted soybean (mid May) and what factors contribute to the yield increase. Six planting dates with a one week interval will be planted at each location and growth staging of the plants from the different planting dates will be determined twice a week.

This study is generously funded by the Iowa Soybean Association.
