No-tillage Study

Many studies have been conducted in Iowa and neighboring states looking at tillage comparison but not on how to optimize agronomic decisions within the no-tillage system. No recommendations exist in Iowa for the growers that want to adopt no-tillage production practices, minimize the risk with a no-tillage system compared to a tilled system, and how it deviates from current recommendations. The overall goal of this research project is to develop management recommendations for producers using no-tillage producing practices under various soil types in Iowa.
