A comprehensive research project was conducted from 2004-2006 funded by the checkoff and the Iowa Soybean Association to investigate soybean yield limitations in Iowa. Six fact sheets have been written based on the information from that project.

Soybean Growth and Development
- a new 28 page publication that explains soybean growth and development through the life cycle of a maturity group II variety in Iowa. The publication include guidelines on how to recognize different growth stages and apply specific management practices at optimum times.

The publication costs $4. It can be ordered by contacting any Iowa State University Extension county office, or by calling the Iowa State University Extension Distribution Center at (515) 294-5247.

Using Foliar Fungicides to Manage Soybean Rust is a new publication put together by plant pathologists and agronomists working in many regions of North America. This new publication reviews the factors involved in making fungicide spray decisions and basic fungicide information, including mode of action, application, and use strategies.
