This web site provides information and educational materials on soil management, conservation practices, erosion control, residue management, and related soil and water quality information.

The Vision is to help farmers of Iowa and elsewhere by providing practical research-based information to help improve management practices and sustain our natural resources.

The development of this web site was partially funded by the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) by the USDA-NRCS to develop educational materials and soil erosion and residue estimation tools.
