| 2006 Scheduled DNR Manure Applicator Certification
Exam Dates and Locations As a confinement site manure applicator, if DNR records show you missed an instructional course during your three-year certification period, and you do not have documentation to prove you attended, you must pass a DNR-administered examination, to be eligible to recertify for the next three-year period. If you are required to test as a result of a missed continuing education course, you must contact your local DNR Field Office to schedule a testing session. Testing sessions and locations are listed below. You may attend any of the sessions. If you fail a test, you must wait at least 24 hours before the next test. Once the eligibility exam is passed, you must establish your certification as outlined below. Contact DNR field offices at the following numbers for further information. After completing the make-up exam you must establish a certification cycle by completing one of the following prior to March 1st. 1) either attend two hours of continuing instructional courses each year of the three year cycle, OR pass a second DNR-administered examination (on a different day), AND Certification is for three years and expires on December 31 of the third year. Application to renew a certificate must be received by the DNR or postmarked no later than March 1 after the year the certificate expires to avoid a late charge of $12.50. Commercial manure applicators may also take the exam to meet annual certification requirements.
