DefaultPrint Version The North Central Extension-Industry Soil Fertility Conference is attended by University Extension soil fertility and crop production specialists, industry agronomists, crop advisers, and agency personnel, with representation from states encompassing the North Central USA region and Ontario Canada. The goal of the conference is to facilitate sharing of new soil fertility and nutrient management research information and fertilizer industry developments. The North Central Extension-Industry Soil Fertility Conference has a long history. It was predated by the Midwest Fertilizer Conference, with the first meeting of that conference held in 1949. The first meeting of the North Central Extension-Industry Soil Fertility Conference was held in 1971. This web site is an electronic compilation of available proceedings reports, beginning with the 1985 conference. The individual reports have been converted to PDF files and placed into an electronic database that is full-text searchable. Reports containing information on specific topics, phrases, or words can be found and are accessible electronically through the search process. The reports from future proceedings will be added when available each year. This site is hosted by the Department of Agronomy, Iowa State University, to help support the North Central Extension-Industry Soil Fertility Conference and to facilitate dissemination of soil fertility research results and information.
